Cookies, analytics and how we measure our campaigns.

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies Axis Visa LTD uses on this website, what each is for, and how your consent controls them. Analytics runs only after you choose, and we use no advertising pixels; essential and functional features — including our live chat — keep the site working.

How your consent works

When you first visit, you can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or open Manage choices to decide by category. Analytics is the only optional category, and neither it nor persistent campaign attribution is activated before you consent. If you reject non-essential cookies and storage, neither is used. Our live chat is a functional feature that loads separately so you can message us; see the Live chat section below. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

1. Essential technologies

These are needed for the website to work and are always on. They keep the site secure, let you complete forms, start and manage applications, sign in to your account, and take payment through our payment provider. They also remember your privacy choice so we do not ask you again on every page. Because the site cannot function without them, they do not rely on consent.

2. Live chat

We use Tidio, a third-party live chat provider, so you can message our team from the website. The chat widget loads on our public pages as a functional feature — it is not an analytics or advertising tracker — and it may set its own cookies to run the chat and keep track of a conversation. It does not receive your visa application answers or account details. If you choose to type personal information into the chat, that message is processed by Tidio so we can reply. Tidio processes data within the European Economic Area and may transfer it to the United States under a recognised data-transfer framework, subject to its own privacy terms. The widget does not load on the signed-in customer portal or staff area.

3. Analytics technologies

Used only after you give analytics consent. These help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager. That is the only analytics technology on this website. If you do not give analytics consent, it is not used.

4. Advertising technologies — we do not use any

We run no advertising, remarketing or personalisation pixels on this website. There is no Reddit, Meta or TikTok pixel, and no Google Ads tag. We also use no session-replay or heatmap tool such as Microsoft Clarity. Because none of these exist, we do not ask you to consent to them: the advertising and personalisation signals we send to Google (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and personalization_storage) are always set to denied, whatever you choose. If we ever introduce one, we will update this policy and ask you again before it runs.

5. First-party campaign attribution

Used only after you give analytics consent. When you arrive from a campaign, we store first-touch and latest-touch campaign information in your browser (localStorage) so we can understand which campaign led to a free report or an application. This is first-party information kept in our own records. It is not shared with Google Analytics or with any advertising provider.

Depending on how you arrived, this may include:

  • Campaign parameters: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, utm_id and utm_source_platform
  • Advertising click identifiers: gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, ttclid and rdt_cid
  • The landing page path you arrived on (the page path only, not the full web address)
  • The referring site as an origin and path only (without any query string)
  • The time the information was captured

If you withdraw consent, or choose Reject non-essential, this stored campaign information is cleared from your browser and is not used for later reports or applications.

6. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager as a container to deliver the Google Analytics tags above. Using a container does not change your choices: every tag in our container requires analytics consent, and the container is not loaded at all until you give it. Google Tag Manager is not itself an analytics or advertising tool — it only decides which of our tags may run.

7. What we never send to analytics tools

We do not send your personal visa application answers into analytics tools. That means we do not send your name, email, phone number, passport details, nationality, date of birth, refusal history, immigration history, uploaded documents, payment details or any free-text application information to these tools. With your consent, Google Analytics may process technical information such as page views, general device and browser information, the campaign or referral that brought you, and on-page interactions — for example which destination you selected from our published list of countries. Analytics never runs on the signed-in customer portal or the staff area.

Changing your choices

You can review or change your choices at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or the button below.
